Why Is It Important That We Are Building Our Future?

Building our future is our once a year special offering – one that requires sacrificial sowing and one that builds a legacy for future generations. This offering will enable us to take a giant leap forward toward building Life Chapel’s future Equipping Hub that will bring faith to life in our city. This will enable us to have a permanent hub in our community to activate and expand effective minis- tries and missions, such as counselling, child care, parents groups, support programs, schools outreaches, a café, our weekend services and so much more.

What’s the difference between Tithing and Building Our Future Offering?

Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering which we call Building Our Future.
